The Carinthian Crypto-Protestant's long journey to Transylvania via Danube/Donau

Hainburg an der Donau  •

Jason talks about our Carinthian ancestor's journey on the Danube river to Translvania, Romania. These immigrants were called "Landler" and were exiled by Empress Maria Theresia in 1755 during the counter-reformation. In Transylvania, they met the old Haban/Hutterites who were living in Alwinz, and converted, thus bringing about a revival to the Hutterite culture.
